Microsoft 365 should feel like one workplace, not a pile of apps
Most teams already have Microsoft 365. The harder question is whether identities, email, Teams, SharePoint, licences, and external sharing are working together—or have grown into a set of exceptions nobody wants to touch. We turn the tenant into an intentional workplace: designed, secured, documented, and administered as people and suppliers change.
Make the secure way the easy way to work
Practical cloud workplace services:
- Tenant setup, cleanup, and licensing advice
- Email protection and identity hardening
- SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams structure that matches how you work
- User onboarding, offboarding, and access hygiene
- Guidance on backup and retention expectations
Security-first configuration
We treat MFA, admin hygiene, sharing defaults, and email threat protection as foundations—not optional extras. Licence upgrades are recommended when a control is genuinely needed, not because a feature list looks impressive.
Built for teams whose work lives in email and shared files
NZ businesses standardising on Microsoft 365 for email and files, professional firms handling client documents, and multi-site teams that need consistent collaboration without chaotic shared drives.
A tidy tenant only matters if people use it
A tidy tenant still fails if people keep critical work in personal email or USB drives. We help with sensible structure and enablement so the secure path is also the easy path.
Frequently asked questions
Can you harden our existing tenant?
Yes. We review security baselines, close common gaps, and align policies to your risk profile and licences.
Do you manage licences for us?
Yes. We help right-size licences, remove waste where possible, and keep user assignment tidy as staff join and leave.
Is Microsoft 365 enough on its own for backups?
Not always. Microsoft provides service resilience and some recovery tools, but many businesses still need an explicit backup/retention approach for malicious or accidental loss.
Can you migrate files from old servers or Google Workspace?
Often yes—scoped as a project with clear data mapping, permissions planning, and cutover communication.
Will you train our staff?
We provide practical enablement appropriate to the change. Deep custom training programmes can be scoped when needed.
What is the difference between the cheaper and dearer Microsoft licences?
Chiefly whether you get the desktop applications. The entry-level licence covers email and gives you Word, Excel, and Outlook through a web browser only. Installing them on the computer requires a higher licence, and that is where the cost steps up. For occasional users the browser version is usually enough.
Can board members or trustees share one licence?
Rarely a good idea. A single shared app licence gets you the applications and nothing else—no individual file access—so anyone using that account reaches everything it reaches. If people need their own documents, they need their own accounts. Tell us what they actually need to do and we will find the cheapest arrangement that is not a liability.
Can we share files with people outside the business?
Yes. SharePoint documents can be shared externally, including with personal accounts, once external sharing is enabled. It is worth deciding deliberately what is shareable and with whom rather than switching it on broadly and finding out later.
Someone has left. How do we get at their email?
Their mailbox can be converted so the business keeps access without paying for a licence, or delegated to whoever picks up the work. Tell us on their last day rather than a month later—it is straightforward while the account is intact and considerably messier once it has been removed.
