When IT stops being somebody’s side job
There is a point where informal IT stops scaling. The owner is resetting passwords, a capable staff member is chasing suppliers, and important maintenance only happens after something breaks. Managed IT replaces that uncertainty with a team that owns the day-to-day operating rhythm. We monitor systems, maintain them, help staff when work is blocked, and steadily reduce risk—without requiring you to build a full internal IT department.
The quiet work that keeps a business moving
Core services that reduce downtime and make support easier to manage:
- Monitoring and alerting for critical systems and endpoints
- Patch management and routine maintenance
- Helpdesk access for staff issues and access requests
- Endpoint protection and backup oversight
- Security hygiene embedded in day-to-day support
- Regular reporting and a practical roadmap
From handover to a steady operating rhythm
We start with discovery and documentation, prioritise material risks and quick wins, then operate the environment with clear escalation paths. Remote support handles most issues quickly; onsite visits cover projects, hardware, and critical incidents across our regional coverage.
A good fit when the business has outgrown break/fix
Growing teams across Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, and Tairāwhiti, and multi-site operators who want fewer surprises, clearer communication, and IT that stays aligned to business priorities.
IT becomes calmer, clearer, and easier to budget
Fewer repeat issues, faster staff support, better visibility of risk, and technology decisions you can budget for. Managed IT should feel calmer—not busier—for owners and managers.
Frequently asked questions
Do you take over from existing providers?
Yes. We provide a transition plan, audit and document your systems, then phase changes to avoid disrupting staff.
Is onsite support included?
We combine remote-first support with onsite visits as needed across Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, and Tairāwhiti. Onsite frequency depends on your plan and the work required.
Is managed IT the same as a helpdesk-only service?
No. Helpdesk is part of managed IT, but managed support also includes proactive maintenance, monitoring, security hygiene, and planning—not only ticket handling.
How do you price managed IT?
Usually as a fixed monthly plan per user or per device based on scope and complexity. Larger projects are quoted separately so the operating fee stays clear.
What do you need from us to get started?
Approximate headcount, locations, key applications (especially Microsoft 365), and who currently administers your systems. A discovery call and access review follow from there.
Are we billed monthly or annually?
Monthly, per device. We do not run annual subscriptions. If you have received anything billed annually it is an error on our side—send it back to us and we will credit it and reissue rather than leaving you to sort it out.
We have retired a machine. Are we still paying for it?
Only until you tell us. Per-device licensing keeps charging for a device until someone says it has gone, and it will not drop off by itself. Let us know when a machine is retired and we will take it off the billing.
We are getting a new computer. What should we tell you?
Tell us before it arrives. Setting it up properly means accounts, files, printers, and security tools are ready when you open it rather than trickling in over a fortnight. It also lets us retire the old machine off your billing at the same time.
